Why Use Charters
Time constraints may dictate using a charter to minimise the impact of potential or actual production line delays, oil well shut downs, quota closings, product roll-out, medical emergencies or large perishable product moves. And if not addressed immediately, handled professionally or executed accurately, these critical situations often effect overall company profitability.

Forward Planning Offers Savings
The exclusive use of a dedicated aircraft in both directions is referred to as a pure charter. Understandably, overall costs are substantially lower when the aircraft is utilised in both directions. However, customer requirements are normally in one direction, so X One will, whenever possible source aircraft on a one way basis.

X One also uses another technique, known as "Aircraft Diversion", to control costs. Although technically not a charter, selected airline partners of X One have the ability to divert cargo for aircraft for larger consignments. Given proper planning, a diversion will be significantly more cost effective than pure or split charter service options.

To ensure smooth operation of all charter flights, our policy ensures that an X-One representative be planeside to oversee aircraft loading and unloading activities, at no extra charge to the customer. By continuously monitoring aircraft departure, technical stops and landing, customers will be kept informed of any deviations from the scheduled operational itinerary.
